The present tense often replaces the future

Especially in speech.

فردا می‌روم.

I'll go tomorrow.

بعداً می‌آییم.
ba'dan miāyim.
We'll come later.

The formal future is mostly written / literary

Spoken Persian prefers the present.

The results will be announced.
