be- + present stem

Subjunctive = be- + present stem + endings

Used for wishes, possibility, and after modals.

It follows modal verbs and 'want'

The second verb is in the subjunctive.

💬 Examples
می‌خواهم بروم.
mixāham beravam.
I want to go.

می‌توانم بیایم.
mitavānam biāyam.
I can come.
📝 mitavānam + subjunctive
be- merges before some stems

With certain verbs (e.g. آمدن → بیایم).
