No and negative words
No + verbo (basic negation)
No + verb = don't/doesn't
No hablo inglés. No como carne.
Simply place no before the conjugated verb
Nunca / jamás (never)
Never / ever (in negative)
Nunca como carne. / No como jamás carne.
nunca before verb OR no + verb + jamás
Nada / nadie / ningún (nothing/nobody/none)
nothing / nobody / no/none
No veo nada. No hay nadie. No tengo ningún problema.
Double negation required: no + verb + negative word
Tampoco (neither / not either)
neither / not either
Yo tampoco. / No me gusta tampoco.
tampoco = me neither; used after negative statement
