Because it was raining we stayed home.
ame ga futte ita node ie ni imashita.
疲れていたので早く寝ました。
I was tired so I slept early.
tsukarete ita node hayaku nemashita.
成功するために一生懸命働きました。
He worked hard so he could succeed.
seikou suru tame ni isshoukenmei hatarakimashita.
遅かったのでタクシーに乗りました。
Because it was late we took a taxi.
osokatta node takushii ni norimashita.
大好きなので日本語を勉強します。
I learn Japanese because I love it.
daisuki nanode nihongo wo benkyou shimasu.
仕事があったので彼は来ませんでした。
He did not come because he had work.
shigoto ga atta node kare wa kimasen deshita.
遅れないように早く出発しました。
We left early so we would not be late.
okurenai you ni hayaku shuppatsu shimashita.
高すぎたので買いませんでした。
I did not buy it because it was too expensive.
taka sugita node kaimasen deshita.
健康を保つために運動します。
I exercise to stay healthy.
kenkou wo tamotsu tame ni undou shimasu.
試験に合格したので彼女は嬉しかったです。
She was happy because she had passed.

寒かったのでコートを着ました。
Because I was cold I put on a coat.

だから残ることにしました。
That is why I decided to stay.
