Gerund and passive verbal adjective

The gerund (-οντας/-ώντας) is indeclinable

It expresses simultaneous or immediately prior action.

💬 Examples
Γράφοντας, σκεφτόταν τη ζωή του.
While writing, he thought about his life.
📝 Group 1 gerund -οντας
Αγαπώντας, μαθαίνεις.
By loving, you learn.
📝 Group 2 gerund -ώντας
The passive verbal adjective declines like an adjective

It ends in -μένος/-μένη/-μένο and agrees with its noun.
